This workshop is for the partners of prisoners who have returned home. This is a crucial period in the life of a relationship where issues of long term separation and issues of trust make having a normal relationship difficult. This short workshop supports partners as they discover that they are not alone in their experience. They learn how to meet their own and their partner's needs and they gain an understanding of some of the difficulties common to couples at this time.

Together Apart - Relationships on the Inside - (OCN Accredited Level 1)

A day-long relationship workshop for prisoners serving life sentences and their partners.

The aim of the course is to develop relationship skills and emotional intelligence for their couple relationship. These skills will equip prisoners and their partners to maintain a relationship in spite of long term separation and the constraints of the prison system.

Prisoners and their partners will spend the day together, discussing issues that they face in maintaining their relationship and developing understanding of how they behave in relationships.
