Counselling, support and information for all relationships
We’re hiring experienced relationship counsellors to work across Nottinghamshire.

If you’re a trained relationship, family or young people's counsellor with a passion for providing the best counselling support, we’re looking for you.

We’re working to build a diverse workforce, in particular people that have been and continue to be excluded such as individuals from Black, Asian, Ethnic communities, LGBTQ+ people, disabled people, people of faith and people from less advantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.

We’d also love to hear from counsellors who are British Sign Language speaking or multilingual folks who have worked with BSL or non-English speaking communities.

Barbara one of our Tustees and ex Counsellor said
"Relationship counselling is very rewarding and sometimes challenging. Couples come with a myriad of problems and can feel hopeless and at a loss to know what to do. Slowly unpicking the unhelpful habits, they may have gotten into, and helping them to communicate in a better and more effective way is a big part of the counselling.

Nothing can compare with the joy of seeing a couple, initially so unhappy and at odds with each other, become a couple who listen to each other and rediscover the closeness that they thought was forever lost

It maybe that a couple decides to separate in which case you can help them to separate with respect and understanding of what caused the relationship to break down.

Whomever and whatever you are working with means no day is the same and that is partly what makes the role of a couple counsellor so fulfilling and you can make such a difference to people's lives."
